In providing these consultant lists, the Maryland Historical Trust is in no way endorsing any of the included consultants. The consultants on these lists have asked to be included because they have provided, or have expressed interest in providing, professional services in the identification, evaluation, and treatment of Maryland’s historic resources. The lists are by no means comprehensive and the fact that a consultant is not listed does not mean that they may not be qualified.

Because it is not possible for us to fully verify the experience and credentials of the firms and individuals included in our lists, we strongly recommend that you ask for and check references before hiring anyone included in these lists. We maintain a file on each of the listed consultants that includes professional references, information on representative projects, and resumes for key personnel. These files are available for public inspection by appointment. Please contact
Kathy Opferman at (410) 514-7627 to arrange to view the consultant files.

If you need more information about the Maryland Historical Trust’s Technical Preservation Assistance Program you can contact Richard J. Brand, Administrator, or Claudette Sherman, Preservation Officer, at (410) 514-7627.
