Planning and Technical Assistance
Outreach staff often work in concert with the Maryland Association of Historic District Commissions (MAHDC) when providing technical assistance to local governments. Staff review and comment on local land use plans, assist in the creation of historic area zoning ordinances, and offer educational workshops for historic district commissioners and preservation planners Adobe Acrobat document

. Staff also respond throughout the year to special training requests made by communities that have active historic district commissions.
